The Morristown Police Department is a full-service law-enforcement agency that provides primary law-enforcement services to the Town of Morristown. Morristown is 51.29 square miles in size with a population of 5,434 people (2020 Census). Morristown is located in the center of Lamoille County and serves as the region’s center for commerce, services, and industries. Morristown is situated in a valley along the winding Lamoille River and is nestled among the Green Mountain and Worcester mountain ranges. Morristown is the home to Copley Hospital, a critical access hospital and to the Morrisville / Stowe Airport, a state operated regional airport.
