 rs together for a patriotic parade\, a lively community\nfestival\, live m
 usic by Red Hot Juba\, and a fireworks display to close\nout the evening.\
 n\nAs part of the nationwide celebration of America’s 250th\nanniversary
 \, Morristown’s 2026 Fourth of July events will honor our\nshared histor
 y\, celebrate the present\, and look ahead to the future.\nPlanning is und
 erway\, and the Town hopes to introduce several new\nelements to enhance t

 6 THEME: THEN. NOW. NEXT.\n\nThis year’s theme reflects Morristown’s p
 ast\, present\, and future\nand will be featured throughout the parade. Pa
 rade awards will be\ngiven in three categories:\n\nTHEN: Founding era\, ea
 rly settlement\, agriculture\nNOW: Present-day Lamoille Valley communities
 \nNEXT: Youth groups\, future visions\, sustainability\n\nParade participa
 nts are encouraged to design floats\, displays\, and\nperformances inspire
 d by one of these themes.\n\n-------------------------\n\nEVENT HIGHLIGHTS
 \n\nThe Town of Morristown’s Fourth of July festivities include a\npatri
 otic parade\, a community festival\, live music\, and a fireworks\ndisplay
  to close out the evening. From colorful parade entries to\nfood\, games\,
  and entertainment\, there is something for everyone to\nenjoy.\n\nAs part
  of the America 250 celebration\, the Town hopes to feature\nadditional ac
 tivities\, which may include:\n\n *\nA Vermont Air National Guard flyover 
 (tentative)\n\n *\nCommunity art activities\n\n *\nHistory- and culture-fo
 cused activities\n\nFinal details will be shared as plans are confirmed.\n
 \n-------------------------\n\nPARADE DETAILS\n\nThe annual Morristown Fou
 rth of July Parade begins at 11:00 AM at the\ncorner of Harrel Street and 
 Munson Avenue.\n\nDuring and after the parade\, visitors are encouraged to
  enjoy\ncommunity activities throughout town\, including downtown shopping
 \,\nlocal food offerings\, and special events hosted by community\norganiz
